01What we collect

Only what the marketplace needs to work.

• •Account: your name, email address, city, your role (family or vendor) and a protected password.
• •Your celebration: the event brief — event type, date, number of guests, budget and the services you need.
• •Vendor profile: business name, category, service areas, description, packages and pricing.
• •Activity on the platform: proposals, messages, contracts, bookings and payment records.
• •Basic technical data: device and browser information used to keep the site working and secure.

02What we use it for

To match a family's brief with the vendors who fit it, deliver proposals, keep contracts and messages in one place, process the payments you authorize and support you if something goes wrong.

That's the whole list. We don't use your data for advertising, we don't sell it and we don't build marketing profiles about you.

03We do not share your data with anyone

Your personal data is not a product. We do not sell it, rent it or exchange it with anyone. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, marketing platforms or with anyone who would use it for their own purposes.

If we ever needed to change this, we would say so here before the change took effect.

04The narrow exceptions

There are only two situations where data leaves EventWao, and neither one is us handing your data to a third party for our benefit:

• •Payment processing: the payment provider handling a transaction you authorized receives what it needs to move the money.
• •Legal requirement: if a valid court order or a legal obligation compels us, we may have to disclose what the law asks for.

05What other EventWao users can see

EventWao is a marketplace, so part of the information is visible to the people you are working with: families can see a vendor's business name, city, category, packages and verified reviews; vendors can see the details of the brief they are responding to.

That is the platform working, not your data being shared outside it. Your email, your password and your payment details are never shown to other users.

06Payments

Payments are processed by a licensed payment provider. It receives only what is necessary to complete the transaction you requested. We never see or store your full card number or your bank login, and the payment history in your dashboard is the same record the other side sees.

07How long we keep your data

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, briefs, messages and documents. Records we are legally required to keep — signed contracts and payment confirmations — are stored only for as long as the law requires and are never used for anything else.

08How we protect it

No system is perfect, which is exactly why we collect as little as we do.

• •Access is limited to the minimum each person needs to do their job.
• •Authentication is protected and passwords are never stored in plain text.
• •We review how data is stored and who can reach it, and we fix weaknesses when we find them.

09Your choices

You can ask us, at any time and at no cost, to:

Write to us from the email address on your account. We answer within 30 days.

• •Show you the personal data we hold about you.
• •Correct anything that is wrong.
• •Send you a copy of your data.
• •Delete your account and the data that goes with it.

10Children

EventWao is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

11Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that affects how your data is handled, we will tell you here before the new version applies. The date at the top always shows the version you are reading.
